This town casts no shadows over Castel del Monte, under the aegis of Puglia Imperiale and part of Unesco’s World Heritage List, but rather is sheds a new light: the scene for the election of Frederick II, Andria preserves the remains of two of Frederick’s many wives in the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta.  A short stroll from the Ducal Palace (XVI Century) will find you in the vicinity of the church and convent of S. Francesco (XIII Century) and S.
